My goal was to extract audio from a DVD track as a one time action. It turned out, that Audio Extractor does not do that from a DVD, so I needed to use the A0A DVD Ripper instead, which worked fine. The rating is not relevant for Audio Extractor.

This program worked for me. Even on my Vista machine, where other software quite often errors out after being installed.

I was able to extract a wave file from a flash video very quickly and easily. There was one control, the Bit Rate, that didn't apply to wave files, but I left it at its default setting and everything worked fine.

Don't bother downloading - after all the setup & everything saying it's free, it just inserts bullshit into you converted file unless you buy it.

It did not extract the sound from the .dat file.

From the 1 hour file, it extracted only 13 mins of audio.

AOA Audio Extractor

It did not work as expected. I would recommend you give a fully functional product, even if it is only for a few days. That way, a user can be able to evaluate the product fully, and give you meaningful comments.

This one would only rip for about a minute of the file. No more.

Need audio from a video? No need to look any further! Aoa Audio Extractor does the job. So far I've only used aoa on flv files and so far no problems.

First impression.

My first impressions are very good. Till now I am satisfied both with functionality and user friendliness. But the first file I have tried to open, a flv file, was a failure. I don't know why.

A wonderful program

It's an awesome program! Perfect for converting many files fast to WAV files in order to make them CD Burn ready. It's also very convenient since it allows the drag & drop feature which is what initially got my attention for this program.

Great product

This is a great piece of software for extracting audio from movie files. The only limitation is that it does not work with DVD's, but for free software what more can you ask for. Very fast, stable and good quality extractions producing reasonable file sizes

Excellent program

Very simple, effisient and easy to use program. I had ben sent a Quictime Movie by my guitar totor with a demonstration of a piece I beed to learn and wanted to extract the audio so I could practise away from my computer. This program enabled me to make an MP3 of the audio in under 2 minutes. Thank you to the developers for a very useful tool.
